Tapping in…..

Tapping in…..

“For the person with creative potential there is no wholeness except in using it.”
― Robert K. Greenleaf

I was never able to tap into the creative nature inside of me until I learned:

To let people go

To let people grow

To not let everyone’s problems become my problems

To not be everything for everyone

How to forgive

How to live

How to place my needs before others

How to take the time to celebrate me

How to rest my mind

How to rest my body

How to enjoy life

How to smell the roses

How to enjoy each day for what it was

How to go off and enjoy my own company

How to ask for help instead of everyone asking me

How to stop people pleasing

How to cry if I’m hurt

And laugh when I’m happy

How to sit in solace and be content

tattered

It’s time to take the tattered pieces and create something beautiful!

Your life is your canvas pull out your utensils and put them to good use!!!!

Somewhere along the way…

“The only journey is the one within.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke

The path was laid and then it all began:

path

The Journey

of disbelief

of self-destruction

of lack of trust

of hate

of desperation

of despise

of anger

of rage

of crying

Walking on the dark path it suddenly felt like things were tugging at them and they had nowhere to run

dark path

But somewhere along the way something changed

there was joy

there was peace

there was laughter

there was acceptance

there was love

there was trust

there was patience

As the path became clearer the only thing that seemed important was that they realized that the journey was never an outer experience but an inner experience

battle

Time to find your peace

It became her song…..

It became her song…..

“To me, the greatest pleasure of writing is not what it’s about, but the music the words make.”
― Truman Capote

Blank wall

music

Filled with notes

Visions in her mind

Stroke after stroke

If you listen closely

To the words she wrote

You will soon began to understand the song in her heart

Sometimes the words were full of:

Passion

Anger

Hope

Trust

Hate

Love

Day by day the words change because the song was never the same

Today she found solace in knowing why it became her song

Joy

“Joy is the infallible sign of the presence of God.”
― Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

joy

As she sat with her head bowed for so many years

Something inside of her was still allowing her to rise each day

Slowly her head began to rise and the twinkle returned to her eyes

From the depths of her soul

Arose the biggest smile

Because the joy that was once

Lost could now be found

Because she realized that God was there all the time!
