“People need not fear the unknown if they are capable of achieving what they need and want.”
― Paulo Coelho
Our mindset or intellect functions in one way and that is whatever way you are thinking. Often when someone else comes along with an idea your mind is closed because you are conditioned to think one way. “The purpose of education is to replace an empty mind with an open one.” Malcolm Forbes
Well this is what this Election season was all about! It’s time to open our eyes and our minds! God is able to work through the unlearned things of this world. You have a candidate that is a business man who has never walked in the office of a politician as a President. Who clearly says the most off the wall things and have no clue on what to do however he was chosen. God uses whomever He wants to carry out His plan. God uses the foolish things of the world to conform the wise. In order to be used you have must be weak and low and for the next four years you will see a manifestation like never before. The outcome was not what I was praying for however God is still God!
PSA: The president is not in control of your life you are the commander in chief in your own home!
God will get the victory out of this because now our jaded mindsets will be shifted. The world looks to worldly wisdom and a jaded mindset which leads them away from God. This mockery of an election is an opportunity to level the playing ground. I did not believe in either of the candidates and choosing the lesser of the two evils was the only option. However I believe that God can use anybody with a tainted past as long as their heart is willing. Having child-like faith is what help steer this election.
When people believe so strongly in what they know they can achieve they will stop at nothing to get it. Just like a child who wants a new bike they ask, they work, they ask again and do whatever they need to do to make sure they get what they want. I believe this man was foolish enough to believe anything could happen and it did. One thing he had over his component was that he had a teachable heart. His words were QUITE foolish and his sentiments were very rude and demeaning but he pierced the heart of people who believed just like he did. He gave people hope just like some people found in our current POTUS!
We have a divided country because people are straddling the fence with unwarranted opinions and hatred of the unknown. I will not live my life in fear of the unknown because of who is in the office because I know that God reigns. Just wait and see how God turns things in the favor of the believer. “but rather God has chosen that which is foolishness of the world to confound the wise, and God has chosen that which is the weakness of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty!” (1 Cor 1:27) God works best through the unlearned things of the world because they have a willing heart to listen to instruction. The turn out was not what most people desired but God is not mocked so continue to watch as well as pray!
